Walking tour of Rome in a day...6.5 hours actually

In Front of St. Peters, where we started our day.

Marcos amazing cousin Mario took his motorcycle and came to us here on the west side, he lives on the east side of Vatican City. By motorcycle 30 minutes, by car, 90 minutes! He then proceeded to tour us in 6.5 hours of the Rome highlights (we took a 30 minute lunch break!) - he knew back ways and romances, intrigue and scandals as well as the history to most of the places we were, except the three bumble bees in the stained glass in the church on Capital Hill, that is evidently my job to find out! We went up stairs (124 at a time at Capital Hill), down stairs, ramps, circled fountains and avoided the ever present vespa, which does not bye the bye have to stop at red lights... The girls walked without complaint! Coco even got her gellato!

Coco and Mario refresh themselves at the water fountain.
