we ,made it to Avignon
Versailleswhat a couple of days ...paris was fun but we were happy to leave ...we travelled to Versailles then down to St- Etienne in fact Feur where we found a charming hotel with two rooms left and they opened the pool for the girls...then we went to the restaurant next door; they were closed but took pity on us and said we looked tired and hungry so they could make us salads - which we gladly accepted.
We travelled to Avignon from St Etienne this am but alas marco put unleaded in the diesel gas tank as it was not marked...en panne!So we chugged to the little town and stumbled upon the police station ...they helped us find the Avis number and called for us ...an hour later the tow truck came...then they sent a taxi to the Avis location....we got a new car and were on the road.....zut alors...no air conditioning!!!! We had to turn around....unload again.....and get a third car...four hours later....we were on the road again! We arrived here and Marcos cousin had food and wine waiting....and to Cocos delight...a pool!!!! Tomorrow we explore some castles!

Hey, the raccoons got all into the dog food, knocked all the stuff off your shelves to get to the dog biscuits, then they chewed all the plastic off your bottles of juices and whatnots...and then the missing cat food bag reappeared in the middle of the garage floor, so I think they just dragged it into some hiding place and ate all the food!
But, the cats are fine.....all is well, Alice there this week...
Tell Coco I am almost finished making her pajamas! Hurray!
